Martin Shirley has been the Managing Partner of Shirley Associates in Los Angeles since 1998.  Prior to founding the U.S. arm of Shirley Associates, Martin was a search consultant with Rollo Associates, a leading U.S. search firm based in Los Angeles, where he was responsible for recruiting Board Directors, CEO's, CFO's, CIO's and senior HR, sales, marketing and general management professionals for small and large corporations worldwide.

Mr. Shirley's prior experience in search includes founding Execucare. Ltd., the pre-eminent non-profit search firm in the United Kingdom (www.execucare.com) and DeepSweep (www.deepsweep.com), a leading non-profit job board.  His early career includes sales and marketing leadership roles at Reuters, and Knight-Ridder, two of the world's premiere news and information services providers.

Mr. Shirley has an M.A. from the St. Andrews University, Scotland.
